Ohhh Happy Day!

Today marks a very happy and special day in my books! I was offered a job at the Retail Merchants Association. I have been waiting for this day, for almost a year!!! In early January it will be one year since the dreadful day I was laid-off from Univar. I am sooo happy to have a full-time, Monday through Friday job! This economy is the PITS, and I am thankful to have finally landed something.

I took a sales position at this company...after three rounds of interviews, others interviewing with them, and lots of background checks, I was the one they choose. :) Ohhh, Happy Day!!!! I will be selling memberships to Retailers, Restaurants, etc. This will be a girly job (I get to visit many stores!) and the territory is just Richmond (although that can get huge with all the stores, malls, restaurants, etc.).
